Check-In / Check-Out

Check-in time is any time after 3 pm and before 6 pm Eastern Standard Time. Please contact us if you anticipate arriving later.
Check-out time is by 11 am on the day of departure.

General Inn Policies

  • For the comfort and safety of all guests, smoking is strictly prohibited anywhere on the property.
  • Dogs are only permitted in the Hall Tree Condo (see Dog Policy).
  • No other pets are allowed in the Hall Tree Condo, and no pets are permitted anywhere else on the property.
  • We are an adults-only property and cannot accommodate guests under the age of 18.
  • There is a maximum occupancy of two guests per room (except Hall Tree Condo).
  • Holiday weekends may require a 3-night minimum stay.
  • Rates are subject to applicable taxes and credit card processing fees.

Fireplace Notice

Our fireplaces are turned off during the warmer months, starting May 1. They are typically turned back on around October 15, depending on the weather. If there’s an early frost (brrr!), we’ll turn them on sooner. Let’s hope that doesn’t happen!

Room Rates, Requirements & Payment

  • Visa, MasterCard, American Express & Discover accepted. Personal checks are NOT accepted.
  • We require advance notice if you intend to use any gift certificates.
  • Most weekends require a two-night stay. Minimum length stays may apply for holidays and special events.
  • Holiday and festival weekends may be subject to different rates.
  • Advertised specials may state “some restrictions may apply” and cannot be combined. Ask for these details at the time of booking.

Cancellation Policy

  • In the event of a cancellation, regardless of the time in which it is booked, a $50 cancellation/handling fee (per room) applies but can be used as a credit for a future stay in that calendar year or within 6 months of cancellation if 6 months put you into the net calendar year.
  • If a cancellation is made 10 days or less than scheduled arrival (30 days prior for holidays or festivals), guests are responsible for the entire reservation UNLESS we re-rent the room for all nights reserved. No credit will be issued.
  • When booking 3 or more rooms a 30-day notice to cancel is required for a refund, minus booking and cancellation fees. If cancellations occur less than 30 days prior to arrival, refunds will be given if rooms are able to be rebooked.
  • For holidays, special events, and group reservations a 30-day cancellation period applies. There may also be additional special cancellation policies for groups or rental of the entire house. Please inquire when booking
  • Should it be necessary for guests to depart earlier than the confirmed departure date, no refunds will be applied.
  • Changes to an existing reservation may result in a re-booking or cancellation fee.
  • PLEASE NOTE: We will make every effort to re-book the room; however, unfortunate circumstances do not qualify for exceptions to our policy.
  • If you have cancellation concerns, vacation insurance is available from several providers online to inexpensively protect you in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

Dog Policy

The Hall Tree Condo is the ONLY dog-friendly accommodation we offer. By bringing your dog, you agree to the following terms:

  1. A $50 per night, per pet fee will be applied to your reservation.
  2. You must notify us in advance if you are bringing a dog.
  3. Only well-behaved dogs weighing 50 lbs or less are permitted. No other types of pets are allowed.
  4. Dogs are not permitted in the main building at any time.
  5. Dogs may not be left unattended in the condo at any time.
  6. Guests with dogs will receive breakfast in their condo. The dog must be restrained while breakfast is being delivered.
  7. Dogs must be taken off-property to potty, and owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dog. Waste must be disposed of in outdoor bins only.

Additional Fees

  • A $300 minimum damage fee will apply for any damage caused by a dog. This fee may be increased based on the cost of repairs.
  • A $50 cleaning fee may be charged if there is excess dog hair on furniture. Please use the provided dog pad if your dog is allowed on furniture.

Important Reminder

By booking the Hall Tree Condo, you agree to adhere to this policy. Failure to comply may result in additional charges and/or termination of your stay without refund.

If a pet is brought to any room or reservation other than Hall Tree Condo, your reservation will not be accommodated, and standard cancellation policies will apply. No exceptions.
